Need an Official Docket or Record?
Use the following Marion County routes for common official-record needs:
- A docket sheet: run a case search through the statewide portal, or request the docket from the clerk of court
- A court date or setting: check the court calendar, or confirm the setting with the clerk of court
- Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
- A specific case: look it up with a case search by party name or case number
- Court records and case files: see court records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
For records in the 115th or 276th District Court, contact Marion County District Clerk Susan Anderson at 102 W Austin, Room 303, Jefferson, TX 75657, or call (903) 665-2441. Posted weekday counter hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. District civil, family, juvenile, and felony records belong there. County criminal and probate requests instead go to Marion County Clerk Kim Wise, and JP or municipal cases remain with their own courts.
